Russian missile attack on hospital in Ukraine, 2 dead

A Russian missile hit a medical center in Dnipro, eastern Ukraine. Two people were killed and at least 23 others were injured.

The British mass media BBC reported this information on Friday.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the attack, saying authorities are now working to rescue people from the hospital and clean up the affected area.
Two children were among the injured and a total of 21 injured people were sent to hospital. 3 of them are in critical condition.

Earlier, regional governor Serhiy Lisak said the city was attacked using rockets and drones.

In addition, the capital Kiev was also attacked. Houses, shopping centers and some cars were damaged by pieces of the crashed drone.

Also, on Friday, an explosion in Krasnodar, east of Crimea, inside Russia, damaged some buildings. The regional governor said the explosion was caused by two Ukrainian drone strikes.

Russia’s Belgorod region also reported at least 130 attacks last night, its governor said. A woman was injured.

President Zelensky posted a video showing smoke rising from a hospital building in Dnipro and firefighters arriving at the scene.

“They reaffirmed that Russian terrorists are against humanity and integrity,” he said.

Ukrainian authorities say they shot down 17 missiles and 31 drones fired by Russia last night.

Several drones and missiles hit various targets – including an oil refinery – in the eastern Ukrainian cities of Dnipro and Kharkiv.
