Saudi Arabia has revealed its position on the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Saudi Arabia has said it will maintain a positive neutral position on the issue.
Saudi Foreign Minister Farhan bin Faisal said his country and other Arab countries would maintain a similar neutral position and maintain relations with both sides.
The foreign minister said these things after the Arab League summit in Jeddah, the port city of Saudi Arabia, on Friday. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was invited to the conference.
Zelensky, without naming any country, said some Arab countries were blindly supporting Russia’s occupation.
Following the start of Russia’s military operations in Ukraine, Saudi Arabia did not participate in the sanctions against Russia in line with the US and Western countries. Not only that, they refused to reduce oil production despite America’s request.
