A South Korean man opened the emergency door of an Asiana Airlines plane in mid-air. The man was taken into police custody soon after the incident. He was officially arrested on Saturday. This time in the police interrogation, the person said that he opened the door of the plane after being choked.
All 194 passengers of the plane in Friday’s incident are currently safe. However, some people fainted immediately. Some also experienced respiratory distress.
However, the plane managed to land at the Diego airport without incident.
During the interrogation, the person told the officers that he was suffering from depression after losing his job recently. He wanted to get out quickly through the emergency door after putting a chokehold.
The person also said, ‘He felt the flight was taking longer than usual. He was barricading inside the cabin.
