Three Palestinians were killed in an operation by Israeli forces in the Balata refugee camp in the occupied West Bank. The Ministry of Health of Palestine gave this information in a statement.
The incident happened around 1 pm local time on Monday.
According to Al Jazeera, Israeli forces blocked the entrance to the camp with bulldozers. Ambulances and journalists were barred from entering. Then comes this casualty information.
The raid is one of the biggest raids of the year.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health identified the three dead as Muhammad Abu Zaytun (32), Fathi Abu Rizq (30) and Abdullah Abu Hamdan (24). The Israeli army did not immediately confirm casualties.
Israel has launched a series of attacks on the occupied West Bank since the beginning of the year. Earlier this month, two Palestinians were killed in an operation in Balata.
