UN report: 82 million people go to bed without food.

The number of empty people is adding day by day each over the world.82.8 million people go to bed empty every night. That is, 10 percent of the world’s population doesn’t have enough food to meet the minimum needs. The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization( FAO) said this in a report on May 28 World Hunger Day. Aljazeera news.

It’s said that the number of empty people this time has increased by4.6 million compared to the former time. Two- thirds of the empty are women. 80 percent of them live in climate change prone areas. The number of empty has dropped in the last many decades. But it has increased again in the last many times. Due to global conflicts, climate change, profitable shocks and the nimbus epidemic, the number of glutted people increased by 15 crore from 2019 to 2021. The price of food has also increased a lot. This also has the effect of adding the number of empty people.

From 2019 to 2022, the Food Price Index or World Price Index increased from95.1 percent to143.7 percent. This shows how important food prices have increased in a short period of time. The association tracks global price increases for sugar, meat, grains, dairy products, comestible canvases and other food particulars.

According to the United Nations Food Security and Nutrition Agency, Asia has the loftiest number of undernourished people in the world. In 2021,42.5 million people in this mainland would spend their lives in hunger. That time, 278 million people in Africa were starving.

The Global Report on Food Crisis, which deals with food security, said the number of people living with extreme hunger increased for the fourth successive time in 2022.25.8 million people in the world are in dire need of food. In February 2022, war broke out between Russia and Ukraine. This increases the number of empty people. Because, a large part of the world’s total food grains came from these two countries. War disrupts food force. This increases the price of food in nearly all countries of the world.
